Why Should You Get Lab Tests?

Thousands of scientific studies suggest that four kinds of biochemical imbalances may underlie many chronic problems and symptoms associated with medical and psychiatric health issues.

The four kinds of biochemical abnormalities are:

1- nutritional deficiencies,

2- toxicities,

3- neurotransmitter and hormonal imbalances

4- food allergies

These can only be determined with assurance through laboratory testing at CLIA certified labs.

For instance, key organic acids to evaluate gastro-intestinal function, cellular energy production, neurotransmitter processing, and the functional need for vitamins and minerals are tested. Additionally, co-factor and amino acid assessments evaluate dietary protein adequacy, digestion, absorption, amino acid transport, metabolic impairments, hormone levels and other nutritional deficits.
Toxic exposures commonly occur in a multitude of ways from substance abuse, air pollution, tooth fillings, skin creams, paint dyes, contact with batteries, seafood, vegetables, and even tap water. The presence of toxic metals often cause symptoms related to mood swings, problems focusing and addictions since the toxins can hinder neurotransmitter regulation in the brain.

Eventually, this increasing toxic burden can trigger a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive disorders, including low moods, anxiety, memory loss, addiction, attention problems and fatigue.
